The Burden of Expectation (Part 2)

Failed expectations eventually demonstrate unmet needs. The space between an unmet need and the level of expectation displays the intensity of frustration. The more we minimize our expectations of what we “think” people should do, be, believe, perceive, become, and achieve—the more we increase our ability to give true agape love. This love remains unconditional, and never gives “conditions” to its unconditional state.

Yes, it’s easier said than done.

No, it’s not as harsh as it sounds.

Absolutely, once you begin to remove expectations, your gratitude becomes contagious and life becomes exhilarating with each day.
